Description

If you are looking for a complete geothermal heating and cooling system, look no further than this bundle. It contains everything you need to install a high-performance and energy-efficient geothermal loop system in your home or business. Here are the details of what’s included in this bundle:

  • 4 rolls of 3/4″ x 600′ CenFuse High Density Polyethylene Loop Pipe – SDR 11: This pipe is specially designed for geothermal applications, with a high resistance to heat, pressure, and corrosion. It is flexible and easy to install, with a fusion joining method that ensures a leak-proof connection. Each roll contains 600 feet of pipe, enough to cover a large area.
  • 1 1/4″ x 3/4″ 4 Circuit Insulated Header – Straight Pattern: This header is used to connect the loop pipe to the geothermal heat pump. It has four circuits, each with a 3/4″ outlet and a 1 1/4″ inlet. It is insulated with closed-cell foam to prevent heat loss and condensation. It has a straight pattern, which means the outlets are aligned with the inlet.
  • Geo-Pulse Non-Pressurized Geothermal Flow Center – Two Pump: This flow center is the heart of the geothermal system, as it circulates the fluid through the loop and the heat pump. It has two pumps, which provide redundancy and reliability. It is non-pressurized, which means it does not require an expansion tank or a pressure relief valve. It has a compact and quiet design, with easy access to the pumps and valves.
  • 1″ x 12′ Geothermal Hose Kit with 1″ MPT to 1″ Barb 90 Elbow Union Adapters: This hose kit is used to connect the flow center to the heat pump. It has two hoses, each 12 feet long and made of durable rubber. It also has two adapters, each with a 1″ male pipe thread on one end and a 1″ barb on the other end. The adapters have a 90-degree elbow shape, which allows for a tight fit in small spaces.
  • ProTek PG Plus Propylene Glycol Heat Transfer Fluid – 5 Gallon: This fluid is the medium that transfers heat between the loop and the heat pump. It is made of propylene glycol, which is a non-toxic and biodegradable substance. It also contains corrosion inhibitors and stabilizers, which protect the system from rust and scale. It has a low freezing point, which prevents ice formation in cold climates. One 5-gallon container can fill up to 300 feet of loop pipe.

With this bundle, you can enjoy the benefits of geothermal heating and cooling, such as lower energy bills, reduced carbon footprint, and improved comfort. Order yours today and get ready to experience the difference!

Product FAQ

Program – Residential Federal Tax Credit – Air Source Heat Pump
Heat pumps are either ducted or non-ducted (mini-splits).  Eligibility depends on whether you live in the north or south. Ducted South: All heat pumps that have earned the ENERGY STAR label North: Heat pumps designated as ENERGY STAR Cold Climate that have an EER2 > 10 Ductless (mini-splits) South: ENERGY STAR-certified heat pumps with
  • SEER2 > 16
  • EER2 > 12
  • HSPF2 > 9
North: ENERGY STAR Cold Climate heat pumps with
  • SEER2 16
  • EER2 9
  • HSPF2 > 9.5
Note: The information provided here about Air-Source heat pumps that are eligible for the tax credit is the most current available. Currently, eligible equipment must “meet or exceed the highest efficiency tier (not including any advanced tier) established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency which is in effect as of the beginning of the calendar year.”  The eligibility requirements are subject to change based on the final CEE Criteria and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Annual Limits on Energy-Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credits

In addition to limits on the amount of credit you can claim for any particular equipment installation or home improvement, there are annual aggregate limits.  The overall total limit for an efficiency tax credit in one year is $3,200.  This breaks down to a total limit of $1,200 for any combination of home envelope improvements (windows/doors/skylights, insulation, electrical) plus furnaces, boilers, and central air conditioners.  Any combination of heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and biomass stoves/boilers are subject to an annual total limit of $2,000. (Note: ENERGY STAR-certified geothermal heat pumps are eligible for a separate tax credit and not counted against these limits.)
