If you are looking for a complete geothermal system, this bundle has everything you need. It contains 5 rolls of CenFuse loop pipe, which is made of high-density polyethylene and has a pressure rating of SDR 11. It also includes a 5-circuit insulated header with a straight pattern, which allows you to connect the loop pipe to the flow center. The flow center is a Geo-Pulse non-pressurized model with two pumps, which circulate the heat transfer fluid through the loop field and the heat pump. The bundle also comes with a geothermal hose kit, which has 1″ MPT to 1″ barb 90 elbow union adapters for easy installation. Finally, the bundle includes 5 gallons of ProTek PG Plus propylene glycol, which is a biodegradable and non-toxic heat transfer fluid that protects your system from freezing and corrosion.

Description

If you are looking for a complete geothermal system that is easy to install and maintain, look no further than this bundle. It contains everything you need to set up a high-performance and energy-efficient geothermal loop for your home or business. Here are the details of what’s included:

  • 5 rolls of 3/4″ x 600′ CenFuse High Density Polyethylene Loop Pipe – SDR 11. This pipe is specially designed for geothermal applications, with a high resistance to heat, pressure, and corrosion. It is also flexible and durable, making it ideal for underground installation.
  • 1 1/4″ x 3/4″ 5 Circuit Insulated Header – Straight Pattern. This header connects the loop pipe to the flow center, ensuring a balanced and consistent flow of fluid throughout the system. It is insulated to prevent heat loss and protect against freezing.
  • Geo-Pulse Non-Pressurized Geothermal Flow Center – Two Pump. This flow center circulates the fluid between the loop and the heat pump, using two pumps for optimal performance and reliability. It is non-pressurized, which means it does not require an expansion tank or a pressure relief valve, simplifying the installation and maintenance process.
  • 1″ x 12′ Geothermal Hose Kit with 1″ MPT to 1″ Barb 90 Elbow Union Adapters. This hose kit connects the flow center to the heat pump, providing a flexible and leak-proof connection. It includes two hoses, each with a 90-degree elbow union adapter that allows for easy alignment and adjustment.
  • ProTek PG Plus Propylene Glycol Heat Transfer Fluid – 5 Gallon. This fluid is specially formulated for geothermal systems, with a high boiling point, low freezing point, and excellent thermal conductivity. It also contains corrosion inhibitors and biocides that protect the system from rust and microbial growth.

With this bundle, you can enjoy the benefits of geothermal heating and cooling, such as lower energy bills, reduced carbon footprint, and increased comfort. Order yours today and get ready to experience the difference!

Product FAQ

Program – Residential Federal Tax Credit – Air Source Heat Pump
Heat pumps are either ducted or non-ducted (mini-splits).  Eligibility depends on whether you live in the north or south. Ducted South: All heat pumps that have earned the ENERGY STAR label North: Heat pumps designated as ENERGY STAR Cold Climate that have an EER2 > 10 Ductless (mini-splits) South: ENERGY STAR-certified heat pumps with
  • SEER2 > 16
  • EER2 > 12
  • HSPF2 > 9
North: ENERGY STAR Cold Climate heat pumps with
  • SEER2 16
  • EER2 9
  • HSPF2 > 9.5
Note: The information provided here about Air-Source heat pumps that are eligible for the tax credit is the most current available. Currently, eligible equipment must “meet or exceed the highest efficiency tier (not including any advanced tier) established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency which is in effect as of the beginning of the calendar year.”  The eligibility requirements are subject to change based on the final CEE Criteria and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Annual Limits on Energy-Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credits

In addition to limits on the amount of credit you can claim for any particular equipment installation or home improvement, there are annual aggregate limits.  The overall total limit for an efficiency tax credit in one year is $3,200.  This breaks down to a total limit of $1,200 for any combination of home envelope improvements (windows/doors/skylights, insulation, electrical) plus furnaces, boilers, and central air conditioners.  Any combination of heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and biomass stoves/boilers are subject to an annual total limit of $2,000. (Note: ENERGY STAR-certified geothermal heat pumps are eligible for a separate tax credit and not counted against these limits.)
