DIY 4th Generation E Star 24K BTU Heat Pump Condenser 230 volt 20.5 SEER with 25-foot line set

The MRCOOL® 4th Generation DIY 24K BTU, 20.5 SEER Ductless Heat Pump is an all-in-one system that seamlessly combines efficiency, durability, and simplicity. This system can offer a 20.5 SEER efficiency rating that has allowed it to achieve an Energy Star certification and can heat & cool an area up to 1,000 sq. ft. It also features durable construction and a corrosion-resistant Gold Fin condenser.

All of this is contained within a Do-It-Yourself system that can be installed by a homeowner in a few hours using simple tools. This simplicity is achieved with the use of the patented MrCool Pre-Charged Quick-Connect Line Set included with the system. Not only is this system capable of delivering exceptional performance, but it is also equipped with up to six operating modes, which include AUTO, HEAT, COOL, FAN-ONLY, DRY (dehumidification), and SLEEP.

The system’s Follow Me Feature allows the system to adjust the room temperature based on wherever you’re standing with the hand-held remote control. This system also has the ability to be controlled with a smartphone by way of the Smart HVAC app. Backed by a limited lifetime compressor warranty, this system is sure to meet your comfort needs and peace of mind.

Program – Residential Federal Tax Credit – Air Source Heat Pump
Heat pumps are either ducted or non-ducted (mini-splits).  Eligibility depends on whether you live in the north or south. Ducted South: All heat pumps that have earned the ENERGY STAR label North: Heat pumps designated as ENERGY STAR Cold Climate that have an EER2 > 10 Ductless (mini-splits) South: ENERGY STAR-certified heat pumps with

Note: The information provided here about Air-Source heat pumps that are eligible for the tax credit is the most current available. Currently, eligible equipment must “meet or exceed the highest efficiency tier (not including any advanced tier) established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency which is in effect as of the beginning of the calendar year.”  The eligibility requirements are subject to change based on the final CEE Criteria and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Annual Limits on Energy-Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credits

In addition to limits on the amount of credit you can claim for any particular equipment installation or home improvement, there are annual aggregate limits.  The overall total limit for an efficiency tax credit in one year is $3,200.  This breaks down to a total limit of $1,200 for any combination of home envelope improvements (windows/doors/skylights, insulation, electrical) plus furnaces, boilers, and central air conditioners.  Any combination of heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and biomass stoves/boilers are subject to an annual total limit of $2,000. (Note: ENERGY STAR-certified geothermal heat pumps are eligible for a separate tax credit and not counted against these limits.)

MRCOOL 4th Generation DIY Warranty

MrCool distributor (hereinafter “Company”) warrants this product against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance
as follows. All warranty periods begin on the date of the original installation. If the date cannot be verified, the warranty period begins one hundred twenty (120)
days from the date of manufacture. The unit comes standard with a 5-year parts/7 year compressor warranty and is available with a limited lifetime compressor warranty
only if certain conditions/requirements are met.
The limited lifetime compressor warranty & the 7-year unit replacement warranty cover the unit ONLY in the event of compressor failure. To qualify for the
limited lifetime compressor warranty, the unit must be registered at the web address below within 60 days of the installation date, and the original,
the registered owner must also enroll in the MrCool Care program within 4 months from the installation date, which has a biannual fee to be covered by the
owner. The MrCool Care program is designed to provide the owner with a Do-It-Yourself cleaning kit to service/clean the unit at regular intervals (bi-annually) as
preventative maintenance to help ensure the unit will continue to function properly throughout its lifespan.
If compressor failure occurs within the first 7 years, and it has been verified with diagnostic testing performed by a certified HVAC technician (and proof can be
provided to MrCool), as well as meeting the other stipulations/requirements listed below, this warranty will provide one entire unit replacement (equipment only).
In the event of compressor failure after the initial 7 years, the limited lifetime compressor warranty will cover the cost of a replacement compressor (equipment only).
This warranty does not cover any costs incurred to diagnose or replace equipment. If the original owner does not register the unit, the warranty defaults to the
standard 5-year parts, 7-year compressor warranty.
To qualify for the Limited Lifetime Compressor Warranty, the product must be registered by the original owner and they must be enrolled in the
