To stand up to the various harsh climates all over the world, the outdoor unit needed to be built like a tank, using the right materials. At the heart is the variable speed DC inverter compressor, equipped with its belt heater for running stable in frigid regions. The brain is the power control board and intelligent fan motor, which can run in reverse at shutdown, blowing any drawn-in debris back out of the coil and keeping it as clean as the day it was installed. Finally, the muscles of the system are the galvanized steel panels and anti-corrosion coil, capable of withstanding >15,000 hours of salty air or water exposure.
